Advice & tips : Footwear
For training and playing sports, it is important to use the correct footwear. There is not one shoe that will suit every individual but there are certain guidelines to follow which should enable you to find a suitable trainer.
The majority of the shoe should not be fabric as this is too light and doesn’t give enough support to the foot. Leather may be heavier but gives much more support and therefore controls the foot better. There should be plenty of room in the toebox, this will prevent blisters, black nails and calouses on the toes. To prevent the foot sliding around in the shoe, you will need to ensure that the laces are tied up snugly.
