Kristin received her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center, USA in 1995. She has over 27 years of experience treating musculoskeletal conditions. She has a special interest in lower limb biomechanics and has extensive experience in the treatment of chronic or recurring sports injuries, including prescribing custom-made foot orthotics (insoles). Kristin is one of the Founders and Directors of PhysiOptima where she also teaches Pilates 1:1 and in classes.
Kristin was the Lead Practitioner of the Cambridge Sports & Exercise Medicine Unit and Peter Wilson Sports Injury Clinic at Addenbrookes Hospital for 8 years, and has treated many sportsmen, up to the elite and Olympic level, in a variety sports. She has personally treated over 100 different types of sports, and thousands of different sports injuries. She has a special interest in long-distance runners and the biomechanical origins of their injuries.
