As individual as you are.

The main aim of Pilates is to build an efficient “core” of stability muscles. It is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels and particularly beneficial to those with back pain, poor posture, sports injuries, arthritis, stress related illness, and during and after pregnancy. Research has shown the importance of re-training your “core” following injury or back pain to prevent the problem from returning.

Control. Strength. Balance.

Our on-site classes in our studio room are kept to small numbers to give you individual attention and ensure you receive the most tailored instruction. Pilates focuses on correct movement quality, core strength, balance and postural correction. Our instructors are experts in identifying your needs and correcting your technique so that you do the exercises safely and get the most out of every class. If a class setting isn’t your thing, we can also offer Pilates on a 1:1 basis in private sessions.

I find Rachel to be an excellent Pilates instructor. The small group size, a maximum of 4, means she has time to concentrate on individual needs.
