Regain. Maintain. Optimise your golf.

Poor technique, or bad posture during the stance and swing phase, can be responsible for a wide range of injuries. Tight or weak muscles, stiff joints, poor posture and pain may be limiting a good swing and therefore limiting your golfing performance. By seeing a Golf Specific Physiotherapist you are in the hands of an expert with in-depth knowledge of the sport and an understanding of what injuries commonly occur in golfers.

Golf screening.

Our in-house Golf Physiotherapist, Therese Viljoen, will carry out an hour long screening assessment where specific limitations are identified. Then, the physiotherapist can do manual techniques and prescribe specific exercises to correct these problems so that you can achieve optimal physical potential through your golf swing. When this is used in conjunction with a good Golf Professional/Coach, you are certain to see your game improve!

I was so frustrated when I injured my shoulder and wasn’t able to play golf. Therese quickly identified the cause and how it affected my golf swing.  It helped me not only to have a pain-free swing but also to gain extra  distance with my drive!
