Regain your Life. You don’t have to live with back pain.

Take back control. Back pain affects most people (90%+) at some point in their life. Whether you have a desk job or one that’s physically demanding, back pain is not exclusive to any one group and can really affect your ability to work and your quality of life. Added to this is the impact it may also have: you may have financial concerns about keeping your job or taking regular sick leave, or you might be unable to continue with your favourite hobbies or sports.

The good news is that, although it can have a negative impact on your life, this will usually only be temporary as most back pain is not serious and can be relieved with physiotherapy.

How we can help.

We use various hands-on techniques to help relieve your pain as well as identifying why you developed the pain in the first place. We’re experts in diagnosis, as well as treatment, which is why we allow a full hour for your first visit to perform an extensive examination. By identifying the specific structures involved and investigating what specific stresses caused your back pain, we can target our treatments more effectively so that not only can we relieve your current symptoms but we will prevent them from coming back again. And, most importantly, you get back the life you love.

Why us?

It’s simple – our treatments have a dual approach. First we’ll relieve your pain using the treatment that we identify as right for you: manual therapy, massage, mobilisations or manipulations, acupuncture, or strapping. But secondly, and more importantly, we’ll identify the cause of the injury and by prescribing exercises for you to do at home, and giving you postural advice to use in your daily life, we will work with you to prevent the injury from recurring. This combined approach differs from other disciplines that often fail to relieve your symptoms long-term because only one treatment approach has been applied.

We can also offer you on-site Pilates classes taught in our studio gym which are a useful progression after treatment ends for strengthening your back and improving your core strength.
