Specialist Physio which targets your hip pain.

Hip pain can be nagging and might even be causing you to limp or stopping you from to lying on your side. The good news is that there are a number of physiotherapy treatments that can target this pain to help you get better, and more importantly stay better.

How we can help.

With our one hour assessment at your first visit, we will gain a better understanding of your problem, investigate it thoroughly, and begin to ease the pain. Our treatments may include manual therapy, mobilisations, prescriptive exercises, ultrasound, biomechanical treatment or foot insoles (orthotics), cryotherapy, and massage.

Why us?

We treat BOTH the symptoms AND the cause so that you get better and stay better. And to identify the cause, we’ll look at the way you move and analyse your gait. With a biomechanics expert on our team, we also have an in-depth knowledge of how the foot and ankle, knee and hip all interact together – something that is often over-looked or not identified in many standard hip examinations. The lower limb posture (biomechanics) can greatly influence the hip’s function and may be the underlying cause of why you developed the pain in the first place. Because the hip is a common referral area for the sacroiliac joints and low back, our assessments will also exclude this as a contributing factor.

Common hip pain causes:

Trochanteric bursitis
Labral tears
Sports Injuries
ITB syndrome
Piriformis syndrome
Muscle strains
Pre and Post-Surgical Rehabilitation
Osteoarthritis
